"BOWLING FOR BLANKETS" charity event collecting clothes for those in need. Allowing friends to bowl at a discount and mingle while celebrating a great cause.

EVENT GOALS
To create an event where clothing can be donated for those in need while raising awareness surrounding homelessness. Also to host a charity event to make participating in community service more enjoyable. Patrons can socialize in an enjoyable environment. We plan to raise money, and winter accessories for those in need.

HISTORY
Since 2003, The Talented Tenth of Howard University, has annually hosted Bowling For Blankets where we nearly raised funds, received clothing, and brought about awareness surrounding the homeless issues in the District of Columbia. The history of success has brought us to expand the event to NY.
